Hi! I'm Maddie. However you found your way here, I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a Certified Full-Spectrum Doula and Childbirth Educator based in San Francisco. I just moved here from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where I spent 14 years.
My path to this work started in 2015 when I first learned what a doula was. I was sitting at a desk job after college, and the moment I read about the Radical Doula, something clicked — deep in my bones, I knew this was where I was headed. In 2020, I began my certification journey.
I'm trained through Birthing Advocacy, and have continuous education and additional certifications in Racism & Privilege in Birth Work, Pregnancy & Infant Loss, navigating the NICU.
My approach to this work is evidence-based, trauma-informed, judgment-free, and always centered on autonomy. My work is rooted in the belief that people deserve to feel informed, supported, and powerful through every stage of their reproductive journey, whether preparing for birth, navigating postpartum, or trying to better understand your own body.
I believe deeply in the power of community and support systems — not just for the birthing person, but for partners too. Partners are an integral part of this journey, and I love helping them find their footing, their voice, and their role during one of the most transformative experiences of their lives.
When I'm not talking about birth or the menstrual cycle, you'll find me chasing light with a camera, cooking something with too many ingredients, traveling wherever I can, and always, always learning. I'm a lifelong student of my spirituality, connecting with other humans, and a believer in the power of love — in all its forms.
Being a doula has changed my life and the way I show up in every aspect - it bleeds into every corner and every interaction and I’m always excited to see where it will take me, who I will meet, and what I will learn.
